Accommodates Two Instruments on Table
Specialists can customize their unit’s table with up to two different pieces of equipment. Namely, the table can fit an auto refractometer and a slit lamp while hiding unsightly cables and cords from patient view.
Lift Boy System
Best of all, there’s no need to painstakingly realign equipment every time you adjust something, thanks to the innovative mechanics of the Lift Boy system. The specialist can calibrate the Lift Boy to account for the difference in height between two pieces of equipment used simultaneously. After the table is programmed, the physician can switch equipment and the table will automatically raise or lower to the correct working height. These features prevent physicians from having to repeatably adjust table and chair when changing to next equipment. Valuable time is saved for both, clinician and patient.
Flexibility with Multidimensional Movement
The table provides flexibility with multidimensional movement. It can be adjusted horizontally, vertically and rotates, which accommodates the patient and the specialist. This flexibility of table movement makes the patient comfortable and reduces the repeated strain on the specialist. The table also features a magnet that prevents accidental movement during patient exams.
Physicians during consultation sometimes need their hands to perform other functions, this unit has a built-in foot switch that is used to electrically control the height (Up/Down) of the table.
Fully Mobile for Efficient Exams
The chair's position can be changed manually using a pedal. Alternatively, the chair can easily be raised, lowered or moved back and forth using the electronic control panel. The chair reclines and features both adjustable armrests and footrests for optimal patient comfort during their examination. The reclining chair is particularly useful when a patient needs to have eyedrops administered. The chair can also be rotated 90 grades -- allowing the patient to enter and exit the seat with ease.
Wheelchair Accessibility
For patients in a wheelchair or with mobility issues, the chair can be removed manually. The ophthalmic chair can be moved aside with the use of its own base plate in order to make the unit accessible for wheelchair patients.
Footrest and Chair Arms
The chair has adjustable armrests and footrests and reclines for optimal patient comfort during examinations.
Lighting
The Verona refraction unit’s lighting system features four overhead LED bulbs that are simple to replace. The light intensity can easily be adjusted using the operator-friendly control panel. The range of illumination provides the patient with comfortable light levels, and the specialist with the ideal conditions for refraction and examination, allowing them to deliver clinical excellence.
Manual Phoropter Arm
The Verona Sofisticata Refraction Unit can be customized with the addition of an manual phoropter arms. The phoropter’s arm can be vertically and has been designed with a weight compensation mechanism. This design feature allows the specialist to confidently operate and move the phoropter with ease.
