How to choose a headlight
- Fit and weight: Headlights are worn on a headband or mounted on an eyeglass-style frame, often together with loupes. Check the fit and how the weight is carried for the length of your procedures.
- Brightness and spot size: Check the light output and spot size at your working distance; a spot that is too small or too large makes the field harder to see.
- Color: A neutral white light helps show tissue color accurately.
