Measurement Data
Indicates the following data:
S:Spherical Value
C:Cylinder Value
A:Cylinder Axis
P:Prism Value
ADD:Progressive ADD value
RPD,LPD:PD value
Concentric Circle of Prism
In blue zone, from the center to edge, there are 7 different size of concentric circles. Each circle indicates 1 prism unit. In other words, it shows 1 to 7 prism.
Measured Lens
Indicates whether the lens being measured is a monocle or right-side/left-side lens.
Measured Lens
Indicates whether the lens being measured is a monocle or right-side/left-side lens.
Cylinder Mark
Cylinder mark is indicated as '+', '-' according to CYLINDER of user menu.
Measurement Steps
Display steps of 0.01, 0.06, 0.12 or 0.25
Auto Measurement
Display whether the measurement is used automatically or manually.
Lens Type
Indicates the type of the lens which is presently being measured.
PD/OH Mode
Target
Indicates the optical center of the lens being measured.
Zoom
Zoom mode: the target indicates the distance and direction from the center of the nosepiece.
Prism mode: the target moves based on prisms as with the eyepiece-type or projection-type lensmeter.
Button for selecting a user setup mode
In case of single lens, you can switch between left and right selection of the framed lens or you can choose left/right lens.
Changes the screen to the normal measurement screen.
Press this button in order to start manual measurement.
Press this button in order to change CYL (-) from.
Button for clearing the value of the measured data to '0'.
Button for print out the measured value.
UV/Blue Light Transmittance Measurement

Measurements taken by the ELM-BH-PD include UV and blue light transmittance, pupil distance, pupil height in glasses frames, and other standard lens measurements. This model uses a greenlight source of 525 nm, close to the international standard wavelength.
With this equipment, you can also measure the transmittance of lenses that block blue light from digital devices such as smartphones and LCDs. There are two types of display modes available: UV Transmittance Measurement Mode and Blue Light Transmittance Measurement Mode.

PD Sensor

A built-in PD sensor allows easy measurement of the frame’s PD.

digital lensmeter elm-bh
Hartmann Wavefront Sensor (HWFS) Technology

The ELM-BH-PD uses the cutting-edge Hartmann Wavefront Sensor (HWFS) technology to cut down on error by compensating for light loss, providing accurate results you can rely on.

digital lensmeter elm-bh
Automatic Lens Detection Mode

The lensmeter can measure double and triple lenses in normal lens mode and includes an automatic lens detection mode. This mode makes operation easy; the ELM-BH-PD automatically determines the lens type and instantly performs the appropriate measurement; no mode selection is required.

7-Inch LCD Touch Screen

The 7-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen monitor (800 x 480) is used to perform all operations, allowing test selection with a few simple taps on the screen. Once measurements are finished, results are displayed on the touchscreen, and UV and blue light data are presented in a graph for quick assessment.

Various Available Interfaces (RS-232, Wi-Fi)

The ELM-BH-PD features robust connectivity; users can share data between the lensmeter and Ezer’s other digital ophthalmology instruments using the optional Wi-Fi-based connectivity module. By connecting the ELM-BH-PD to instruments like the EDR-BH Auto Digital Refractor and the ERK-BH Auto Ref-Keratometer, clinics can take advantage of the devices’ synergy to save time and effort with data entry and testing.

DIGITAL CLINIC

With the ELM-BH-PD by Ezer, clinicians and technicians get quick, accurate results with the utmost confidence, ensuring patients get the lenses they need.

What is an EMR?
Electronic Medical Records, commonly abbreviated as “EMR”, are a technological tool used widely in modern medical practices. EMR systems were designed to replace outdated paper charting methods and streamline the collection and tracking of patient data over time. EMR platforms integrate the various components of a doctor’s office visit, including intake demographics and medical history, prescription information, laboratory data, practice management software, exam notes, and more.
Overall, EMR systems are used to promote economic efficiency and improved patient care through a seamless coordination of data collection and storage. EMR platforms also increase patient transparency through use of portals where patients can view important results and communicate with Doctor’s in a secure manner.

digital refractor edr-h

In the Ophthalmic industry, EMR are becoming more important and popular than ever. The ability to save critical lab data relating to prescriptions and diagnoses while maintaining quick access to that information is key in decreasing chair time and improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

With the Ezer Digital Practice, information sharing is easier than ever! The ELM-BH-PD Lensometer, ERK-H/BH Autorefractor, EDR-H Phoropter, and EDC-BH Visual Acuity Chart all interact via Wifi to streamline communication between your pretest and exam rooms.

We know it can be scary to introduce a new technology to your practice, but with the Ezer Digital Practice equipment and US Ophthalmic’s superior tech support, your practice will save time and money with a seamless EMR integration.
