This model is not only cost-effective, but also equipped with one of the fastest and most accurate measurement systems available. Perform your lens measurements with confidence and ease with the Ezer ELM-BH digital lensometer. This instrument optimizes workflow without sacrificing precision or the breadth of testing modalities.
Displays the following data:
S: Sphere Value
C: Cylinder Value
A: Cylinder Axis
P: Prism Value
ADD: Progressive Addition Value
RPD, LPD: PD Value
In the blue zone, from the center to the edge, there are 7 concentric circles of different sizes. Each circle indicates 1 prism unit. That is, it displays from 1 to 7 prisms.
Indicates whether the lens being measured is a monocle or a right/left lens.
Indicates whether the lens being measured is a monocle or a right/left lens.
The cylinder mark is displayed as ‘+’ or ‘-‘ according to the CYLINDER setting in the user menu.
Displays steps of 0.01, 0.06, 0.12, or 0.25.
Indicates whether the measurement is performed automatically or manually.
Indicates the type of lens currently being measured.
Indicates the optical center of the lens being measured.
Zoom Mode: the target indicates the distance and direction from the center of the support nose piece.
Prism Mode: the target moves according to the prisms, as in an ocular or projection type lensometer.
- Measurement Data Displays: S (Sphere), C (Cylinder), A (Cylinder Axis), P (Prism), ADD (Progressive Addition), RPD/LPD (PD Value).
- Prism Concentric Circle: In the blue zone there are 7 concentric circles; each one indicates 1 prism unit (from 1 to 7 prisms).
- Measured Lens: Indicates whether the measured lens is a monocle or a right/left lens.
- Cylinder Mark: Displayed as ‘+’ or ‘-‘ according to the CYLINDER setting in the user menu.
- Measurement Steps: Displays steps of 0.01, 0.06, 0.12, or 0.25.
- Auto Measurement: Indicates whether the measurement is automatic or manual.
- Lens Type: Indicates the type of lens being measured.
- PD/AO Mode
- Target: Indicates the optical center of the lens being measured.
- Zoom Zoom Mode: distance and direction from the center of the support. Prism Mode: the target moves according to the prisms.
- Bottom Buttons: User mode selection, toggle left/right lens, return to normal screen, start manual measurement, change CYL (-), reset to ‘0’, and print the measured value.
Measurement of Various Lenses
This automatic lensometer can measure single vision lenses, bifocal (trifocal) lenses, progressive power lenses, and contact lenses.
Measurement of PD and Pupillary Height of Eyeglass Frames
Adjusting the central area of the lens with the direction indicator icon allows you to measure the distance between the centers of the left and right lenses and the pupillary height of the eyeglass frame.

UV/Blue Light Transmittance Measurement
The measurements performed by the ELM-BH include UV and blue light transmittance, pupillary distance, pupillary height in spectacle frames, and other standard lens measurements. This model uses a 525 nm green light source, close to the international standard wavelength. With this equipment, you can also measure the transmittance of lenses that block blue light from digital devices such as smartphones and LCDs. Two types of display modes are available: UV Transmittance Measurement Mode and Blue Light Transmittance Measurement Mode.

The UV and BLUE data can be displayed in a single graph, allowing the professional to view both trends at a glance.

Hartmann Wavefront Sensor (HWFS) Technology
The ELM-BH uses cutting-edge Hartmann Wavefront Sensor (HWFS) technology to reduce errors through light loss compensation, providing accurate results you can rely on.

Automatic Lens Detection Mode
The lensometer can measure double and triple lenses in normal lens mode and includes an automatic lens detection mode. This mode simplifies operation; the ELM-BH automatically determines the lens type and instantly performs the appropriate measurement; no mode selection is required.

LCD Tilt Function
The sharp, well-lit display can be tilted forward and backward to ensure comfort whether seated or standing, preventing neck and back strain caused by leaning over the device.

7-Inch LCD Touch Screen
The 7-inch TFT-LCD touch screen monitor (800 x 480) is used to perform all operations, allowing test selection with just a few taps on the screen. Once measurements are complete, the results are displayed on the touch screen, and UV and blue light data are presented in a graph for quick evaluation.

Multilingual Support
The system supports six languages: English, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic.

Auto Cutting Printer
Data is stored for future review and can be printed with the integrated automatic cutting thermal printer.

Multiple Interfaces Available (RS-232, Wi-Fi)
The ELM-BH features robust connectivity; users can share data between the lensometer and other Ezer digital ophthalmic instruments using the optional Wi-Fi connectivity module. By connecting the ELM-BH to instruments such as the EDR-BH Auto Digital Refractor and the ERK-BH Auto Ref-Keratometer, clinics can leverage device synergy to save time and effort in data entry and testing.

DIGITAL CLINIC

With the ELM-BH by Ezer, physicians and technicians obtain fast and accurate results with the utmost confidence, ensuring that patients receive the lenses they need.
What is an EMR? Electronic Medical Records, commonly abbreviated as “EMR,” are a technological tool widely used in modern medical practices. EMR systems were designed to replace obsolete paper-based recording methods and to streamline the collection and tracking of patient data over time. EMR platforms integrate the various components of a medical office visit, including admission demographic data and medical history, prescription information, laboratory data, practice management software, examination notes, and more. In general, EMR systems are used to promote economic efficiency and improve patient care through seamless coordination of data collection and storage. EMR platforms also enhance patient transparency through the use of portals where patients can view important results and communicate securely with physicians.
In the ophthalmic industry, EMR systems are becoming increasingly important and more popular than ever. The ability to store critical laboratory data related to prescriptions and diagnoses while maintaining quick access to that information is key to reducing consultation time and improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. With Ezer Digital Practice, sharing information is easier than ever! The ELM-BH Lensometer, the ERK-H/BH Autorefractor, the EDR-H Phoropter, and the EDC-BH Visual Acuity Chart interact via Wi-Fi to streamline communication between your pre-examination and examination rooms.

We know it can be intimidating to introduce new technology into your practice, but with Ezer Digital Practice equipment and the superior technical support of US Ophthalmic, your practice will save time and money with seamless EMR integration.
