The Tonometer ETN-1800 is designed with ease of use at the forefront. Once the patient’s head is placed in the attached motorized chin rest, the operator needs only to adjust the height of the chin rest and press a button on the built-in touchscreen display. The onboard software suite takes care of the rest and delivers results quickly and consistently.
The ETN-1800 tonometer uses its advanced 3D tracking software to track the center of the patient’s pupil to minimize the influence of eye movements and make fine adjustments accordingly; no joystick required. This dramatically increases the speed of each exam, cutting time spent and improving patient throughput without additional extensive training. The built-in software of the ETN-1800 also allows it to use a quieter and softer air puff for applanation than other devices. This, combined with the rapid exam speed, maximizes patient comfort.
The measurements of IOP, are critically important for the detection and diagnosis of glaucoma. The ETN-1800 tonometer measures ,calculates and displays the IOP automatically.
The large touch screen of the ETN-1800 allows for easy access to all operating procedures. In addition, this tonometer can be connected to patient records via USB or RS232 and has display, search, and input features that make it easy to look up and edit patient data on the fly. The built-in printer can be set to print results after every use automatically.
