Neitz Binocular Loupes with Illumination NTZ-BLS-3 (2.5X - 3.0X)
The NTZ-BLS-3 offers the highest degree of magnification (2.5X to 3.0X) provided in the BL series of Galilean surgical loupes by Neitz. The NTZ-BLS-3 is an expertly machined and versatile surgical loupe made in Japan to exacting standards. Encompassing all the recommended uses of the NTZ-BLS-1 and NTZ-BLS-2, the NTZ-BLS-3 is perfect for plastic surgery, orthopedics, kidney surgery, and ophthalmology. However, the increased magnification offered by the NTZ-BLS-3 and its reduced FOV diameter of 78 to 38 mm makes cardiovascular surgery and brain surgery possible with this loupe.

Neitz has been an industry leader in Japan and abroad over its storied half-century history of ophthalmic optics excellence. The lenses in the NTZ-BLS-3 are painstaking crafted and checked for any defects. The result is a high-quality lens with exceptional light transmission and no aberrations. The NTS-BLS-3 and BL line also rely on precision machining that makes these devices stand out against the competition.

Eye Shield Removable
The NTZ-BLS-3 goes above and beyond with adaptability, allowing users to meet their needs without spending money on specialized equipment. The Japanese-made lenses can be repositioned to match the face shape and eye distance of any user, and each lens can be turned to adjust for visual impairments. Once this is taken care of, the lenses can be used to hone in on a target within the working distance of 500 to 350 mm. This, combined with the ability to angle the lenses down, allows users to work with their back straight and head upright, reducing the risk of neck and back strain.
NEO Frame
The NTZ-BLS-3 doesn't stop there in terms of comfort. The expandability of the NTZ-BLS-3 lets users choose between the lightweight (76 g) and flexible, award-winning NEO frame or the traditional headband that offers extra security with an overhead band.
- Excellent fit with moderate "flexibility"
- Distribute the load at three points: forehead, nose, and strap
- Nose pad that reduces the burden on the nose
- Equipped with a function to easily return to the original position even if it is flipped up
- Abundant color variations
Headband
There is also a more traditional headset frame, weighing 246 g, that has a support strap over the top of the head, meaning it isn't going anywhere.
- Lightweight and soft fit
- A sense of stability supported by the entire head
Illumination
The NEO Frame and the traditional headband are compatible with the industry-leading Neitz NSI-X illuminator and the lightweight and versatile NSI-III. These provide exceptional illumination that facilitates exams and crystal clear imaging via the SC-1 surgical camera system, also by Neitz. This camera allows the user to share what they see with others near and remote, record their operations, or capture images. All of these components are interchangeable and truly allow the user to customize the loupe that's right for them.
