Luxvision Manual Refractor R-2500
The award-wining and durable Luxvision R-2500 Phoropter comes with extensive sphere and cylinder powers as well as several built-in lenses.
Luxvision’s R-2500 provides a wealth of built-in features as well accessories that are not often seen in manual refractor. Now you can efficiently and confidently perform all of the functions necessary in a manual refraction with ease. And, thanks to extensive sphere and cylinder powers, as well as the unit’s several built-in auxiliary lenses, you can perform vision testing on virtually any patient. Take it a step further and customize the R-2500 with a wide range of accessory lenses. The unit is also available in either black or white. The possibilities are endless. Users will also enjoy an easy-to-use convergence system that allows you to switch between distance and near with one simple flip of a lever. Astigmatic testing is also simplified as a result of a special mechanism on the cross cylinder loupe. All of this and more make the Luxvision R-2500 a smart choice.

Vast Sphere Powers The Luxvision R-2500 features an impressive spherical power range from -19.00D to +16.75D in 0.25D steps. By using the unit's auxiliary lens, you can measure -29.00D to +26.75D in 0.12D steps. The unit also features a Rapid Feed Dial that allows you to quickly change sphere power in 3.00D steps for added speed and convenience. |
Extensive Range of Cylinder Powers Measure cylindrical power ranges from 0 to -6.00D in 0.25D steps. Or, use the auxiliary lens and measure ranges from 0 to -8.00D in 0.12D steps. |

Simplified Cross Cylinder Measurements (±0.25D) Perform astigmatic testing with ease thanks to a special mechanism on the cross cylinder loupe. The cross cylinder knob on the R-2500 is conveniently synchronized with the cylinder axis control knob. This unit also features a built-in ±0.50D cross cylinder auxiliary lens. |
Rotary Prism This high-end Luxvision refractor allows for vertical and horizontal measurements of 0 to 20∆ in 1∆ steps. |
Interpupillary Distance Adjustment Convenient knobs, located on both sides, enable smooth and quick PD adjustment. The pupillary distance adjustment ranges from 48mm-80mm in 1mm steps. |
Built-in Auxiliary Lenses The R-2500 features built in ±0.50D auxiliary cross cylinder lenses, +0.12D auxiliary cylinder lenses, and +2.00D (for retinoscope) auxiliary spherical lenses. |
Optional Accessory Lenses For even greater flexibility select from an the following accessory lenses: -0.12C, -2.00C, +10.00S, -10.00. |
