Free up space with the DM-1000. This unit does it all and is ideal for drilling holes in glass, plastic, and polycarbonate lenses.
Simultaneous Dual Perforation from Both Sides with the Luxvision
DM-1000, opposing conical drill bits simultaneously perforate from both sides of the lens, enabling precise drilling while protecting against chipping and breakage. Once the hole is made, the lens reamer can be used to enlarge the hole to the desired size. The lens support arm and suction cup maintain the correct drilling angle. Hole Distance and Size
Precise holes are reamed with perfect accuracy (adjustable from 0.8 mm to 2.8 mm). The distance from the lens edge to the point to be drilled can be adjusted from 2.0 mm to 8.0 mm in increments of 0.5 mm.
Reamer Capabilities
The DM-1000 features an integrated reamer that allows users to enlarge hole sizes from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm.
Twist Drill Bit Option
Through the use of an optional accessory, users can switch to single-sided twist drill bit drilling. Drilling sizes range from 0.8 mm to 2.2 mm in polycarbonate or plastic materials.
