CASIA2 is known to produce the highest resolution and clarity of the cross-sectional images, with a 16 mm diameter, along with the many details of the cornea structure and layers. CASIA2 can measure and detect on the Placido image so that height, slope, and curvature data can be calculated using the arc-step method with conic curves. Profiles of the anterior cornea, posterior cornea, anterior lens, and iris are derived from the SD-OCT scans.
Tomey Corneal and Anterior Segment OCT CASIA2
CASIA2 is the most advance device for the analysis of the anterior segment of the eye. CASIA2 combines Placido disk corneal topography and a high resolution OCT-based anterior segment tomography.
CASIA2 is the most fascinating product with all its different features, possibilities and its amazing technology.
CATARACT
Cataract Application
The Pre-OP Cataract application guides you through ideal preparation for cataract surgery by displaying essential screening parameters for IOL selection. The Post-OP application clearly visualizes and documents surgical quality, providing deeper insight into outcomes. The new color camera improves toric IOL alignment checks by displaying toric markers in various modes. Additionally, a new scan type (IOLSCAN) has been added to the Post-OP Cataract application, offering enhanced visualization of the IOL.
Total Analysis
Anterior segment images and parameters for both eyes can be reviewed at a glance. In addition to conventional pre- and post-op exams, CASIA2 supports routine clinical operations such as initial exams, follow-ups, and informed consent discussions. Parameters are color-coded to highlight differences between left and right eyes or when values fall outside standard ranges.
Lens Analysis
The unique Lens Analysis application provides you with all relevant lens parameters, including front and back radial curvature and the lens tilt and decentration. With this tool a precise prediction of your surgery result is guaranteed.
Pre-OP ICL
Featuring two built-in sizing recommendation formulas, this application helps confirm appropriate ICL sizing for surgery.
Post-op Application
The Post-op application clearly visualises and documents the quality of your cataract surgery with all needed information for your ideal check-up.
GLAUCOMA
STAR 360° & Glaucoma Application
With our STAR 360° application the CASIA2 automatically measures the anterior chamber angles all around the anterior segment due to its automatic scleral spur detection and provides you with all detailed parameters for a ideal glaucoma diagnosis.
It does not only measure but also display the result in a very detailed and unrivalled chart. The charts can be chosen upon your needs out of all measured values.
All regions of your interest, no matter how small and in which peripheral area can be scanned also with a raster scan method, which leads to a fantastic scanning density with a high resolution.
CORNEA
Corneal Application
A topographic image is taken in only 0.3 seconds, which guarantees no artefacts at all. The cornea can be displayed in different map types in a wide range of individual settings, either in 10 mm or 16 mm diameter. Scleral lens fitting is no problem anymore.
Trend Analysis Application
Our unique Trend Analysis application visualises the chronological progress of the post treatment regression of the eye, which allows you a very good follow-up. Different parameters can be chosen for this chart.
