Retinal cameras, lenses and accessories
A retinal camera (also called a fundus camera) photographs the interior surface of the eye — retina, optic disc, macula and posterior pole — so findings can be documented, compared over time and shared. Mydriatic models image through a dilated pupil; non-mydriatic models capture through an undilated pupil, which is what makes them practical for high-volume screening. Hybrid units do both.
