Neitz Retinoscope NTZ-RET-RX-RC
The NTZ-RET-RX-RC by Neitz is a high-end, quality-built streak retinoscope that provides the reliability needed by ophthalmologists and orthoptists to make an accurate diagnosis every time. Neitz has a record of excellence in ophthalmic optical instruments that spans half a century, and they bring this experience to the table with the NTZ-RET-RX-RC.
The NTZ-RET-RX-RC offers versatile customization options in the form of multiple built-in settings and external add-ons. The RX-RC can produce light streaks of 3 modalities, divergent, parallel, and convergent, to suit the needs of any clinical application.
The NTZ-RET-RX-RC uses bulbs with precisely manufactured 0.05 mm diameter filaments to produce one of the sharpest streaks of light in the industry. In addition, the beam can be easily rotated 360 degrees to quickly and effortlessly measure a patient’s astigmatic axis. Importantly, the controls for streak rotation and width are separate, meaning that it will maintain an ultra-sharp streak no matter what.
The device also comes pre-loaded with the +2D lens (Presbyopic Lens), but +3D and +1D lenses are available for purchase as optional accessories. The Presbyopic Lens is very comfortable for patients who have presbyopia. With this lens, patients do not need to wear their glasses when performing a retinoscopy.
The NTZ-RET-RX-RC is the most comprehensive package in the RX retinoscope line by Neitz and comes packaged with essential accessories. It comes with the RX head, RC rechargeable battery handle, extra bulb, and head Attachment, ensuring portability and sustainability. The Head Attachment can be used when the examiner wishes to wear glasses during examination to protect the glasses. All of this comes packaged in a durable carrying case for clinicians on the go.
The dual desk charger NTZ-CHG-RC-II (sold separately), allow charge two units simultaneously, a life-saver on long working days where every moment counts. The NTZ-RET-RX-RC only to be charged using the NEITZ Battery Charger NTZ-CHG-RC-II.
