Visionare Refraction Unit Milano
The unit is motor-operated with keypad controls for the table, chair, phoropter, lamp, and other optometry equipment. With a simple touch of the keypad you can turn on and off exam equipment, and lighting, as well as control and adjust the table, chair and phoropter positions. This makes the exam process simple, and provides the patient with a sophisticated and modern experience. In addition to a keypad control panel, there is also a foot pedal which can be used to control unit positions.
The Milano Refraction Unit allows a patient to sit comfortably in the mechanized chair while the operator uses the control panel to bring the instrumentation to the patient. The operator can use a safety lever under the chair to rotate it so the patient can easily get in and out. Once the patient is seated, the operator can slide the chair back and forth as needed to bring them closer to the built-in phoropter or other instrumentation, or it can be reclined to 180°. The Milano's chair is also designed to be easily removed if the patient is in a wheelchair, making it an industry leader in accessibility. Is ADA compliant, so it provides an excellent experience for patients and doctors, alike.
When the patient makes themselves comfortable with the adjustable footrest and armrests, they are set and can relax without moving around to accommodate the operator or the instrumentation. The user doesn't have to exert themselves either, as the innovative Lift Boy technology takes care of the rest. To account for the difference in height between the optical instruments on the table, the Lift Boy automatically adjusts the height of the table to the correct placement for the new instrument using a foot pedal. This keeps the doctor’s hands free. Likewise, the doctor can use the control panel can bring the phoropter to the patient without having to manually move it.
The table of Milano Refraction Unit is equipped with a safety lock to protect the patient; when the bottom of the table touches the patient's legs, it can no longer move downward, avoiding potential crush injuries.
The phoropter arm on the Milano unit is motorized. With a touch of the control panel, doctors can direct the arm into examination position, adjust its height, and send it back into a resting position. This makes the exam process simple, and provides the patient with a sophisticated and modern experience.
