Accommodates Two Instruments on Table

The Unit has the spaces required to store two ophthalmologic equipment and still preventing the power supply cables to be seen, thus taking care of the aesthetical details; i.e., an automated refractor and a slit lamp.

Lift Boy System

Best of all, there’s no need to painstakingly realign equipment every time you adjust something, thanks to the innovative mechanics of the Lift Boy system. The specialist can calibrate the Lift Boy to account for the difference in height between two pieces of equipment used simultaneously. After the table is programmed, the physician can switch equipment and the table will automatically raise or lower to the correct working height. These features prevent physicians from having to repeatably adjust table and chair when changing to next equipment. Valuable time is saved for both, clinician and patient.

Table Movement, Sliding and Rotation

The table can slide and be moved. It is able to pivot horizontally at a 90° angle and move from one side to the other. All these features make it possible to adjust the height, position and comfort of the patient during consult.
Physicians during consultation sometimes need their hands to perform other functions, this unit has a built-in foot switch that is used to electrically control the height (Up/Down) of the table.

Anchor Magnet

The table includes a magnet that will keep it fixed, even when the patient is using it as support. This additional support will increase the patient’s trust during the procedures required.

Advantages of the Chair for Efficient Testing

FIRENZE’s chair movements can be operated from the unit’s operational panel. In addition, it makes it easier for the operator to conduct manual movements, together with a 90° rotation that offers comfort to the patient.
The chair has the reclining feature, which is an advantage for the doctor to position the patient adequately to conduct diverse ophthalmologic procedures, such as the administration of eyedrops, to name an example.

Friendly Structure for Handicapped Patients

FIRENZE guarantees an integral attention to the patient. This Refraction Unit has an innovating design, which adapts to the requirements of patients with limited mobility, and they are able to step down more easily, thanks to its slide-in system, in case a wheelchair is required to be used during the examination.

Footrest and Chair Arms

The chair has adjustable armrests and footrests and reclines for optimal patient comfort during examinations.

Adjustable Intensity of Light

Being able to control the intensity of light through the features in FIRENZE’s operational panel is an advantage for the specialist. This feature allows to provide more clarity to the environment and thus, e.g., be able to search for an implement required during the examination.

Manual Phoropter Arm

The client has the option of requesting the addition of a phoropter arm to their FIRENZE’s unit, which will provide the benefits of the mechanism and compensate the weight of the phoropter already in place. Once integrated to the unit’s structure, the specialist shall be able to locate the phoropter arm manually and more easily.

Pedestal

A pedestal could be added to the unit to place the monitor in charge of controlling the digital phoropter.

Customized Features

The client will be able to request their FIRENZE unit to be customized based on their preferences, including the color of the wood, the color of the metal pieces, as well as the type and color of the chair.
