The NTZ-OTO-a-34FO by is a versatile otoscope used for in-depth clinical observation of the nostrils and ear canals. The otoscope is equipped with an aberration-free rotating 3X lens that provides a crisp image every time, ensuring accurate observations. The fiberoptic light source included with the L-69 bulb delivers powerful illumination without color unevenness.
The illuminator is powered by 2 included CC batteries, making it ideal for clinicians on the go. Twenty disposable anti-reflection ear tips are included in two sizes (10 Ø 2.5 mm tips and 10 Ø α4.0 mm tips).
The NTZ-OPH-BXa-RC direct ophthalmoscope has cutting-edge corneal reflex minimizing capabilities that make visualizing the fundus easy without sacrificing the high brightness provided by the halogen bulb. A polarizing filter is included that can be inserted into either the illumination or observation axes and rotated to minimize the patient's corneal response. The aperture dial and filter levers are independent and allow clinicians to use a 4000K filter or polarizing filter for all five included apertures. The corrective lens wheel lets users adjust the corrective lens from -36D to +35D in 1D steps, and the direct reading diopter is backlit and easy to read in low-light.
The optical components of the NTZ-OPH-BXa-RC are wholly enclosed within the head of the device and are protected by the aperture shutter – no cap required.
The otoscope and ophthalmoscope heads are interchangeable on the battery handle, which runs on two included C batteries. In addition, each head comes with a single replacement bulb. All components can be safely stored and transported in the carrying case provided with the bundle, making this device ideal for users making house calls and those working in the clinic.
