The NTZ-BLP-4, made in Japan to exacting standards, the optics in the NTZ-BLP-4 are without aberrations and have unrivaled light transmission, delivering the sharpest image possible when it matters most. This is accomplished by a half-century of expertise in manufacturing the finest optical devices for ophthalmology.
ADAPTABILITY
NEO FRAME
The dedication to comfort extends to the two options for frames, the traditional headband and the NEO frame. The NEO frame is a flexible one-size-fits-all frame that weighs only 94 grams with the NTZ-BLP-4. The headband frame has a soft but secure fit. The options for customization go beyond the frame, however.
- Distribute the load at three points: forehead, nose, and strap
- Nose pad that reduces the burden on the nose
- Equipped with a function to easily return to the original position even if it is flipped up
Abundant color variations
Excellent fit with moderate "flexibility"
HEADBAND
The headset option features around the head and over the head straps that will thoroughly secure the NTZ-BLP-4 to your head. Finally, the lens framework can be tilted downward if necessary to allow users to find a comfortable position for them with minimal head or neck bending.
- Lightweight and soft fit
- A sense of stability supported by the entire head

ADJUSTABLE WORKING DISTANCE (21.65" to 13.78")
When performing a procedure that requires extremely fine movements over a long time, a surgeon's comfort factors into surgical outcomes. Neck and back strain is a far too common consequence after craning one's neck over a patient off and on for 6 hours. The lenses on the NTZ-BLP-4 can be angled downward, allowing users to stand upright and simply look down through the eyepiece. This is made possible by the NTZ-BLP-4's depth of focus (21.65"-13.78") that can be adjusted based on the surgeon's height and the elevation of the patient. The lenses are independently adjustable and can be adapted to the vision properties of the surgeon's individual eyes, meaning this is a loupe that's accessible to all.
ILLUMINATION
The illuminators that can be attached to the NTZ-BLP-4 include the Neitz NSI-X illuminator, the brightest in the business, and the lightweight and versatile NSI-III that can use rechargeable batteries or disposable AAs. With either of these illuminators, both of your hands will be free, and the light will always be exactly where you need it – where you are looking.
