Ezer Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope EZ-BIO-2600
The EZ-BIO 2600 Indirect Ophthalmoscope offers superior quality and comfort for optimal fundus observation. With a 20 D lens, the BIO provides physicians with an inverted image of the retina at five times magnification. Four light apertures allow for examination of patients with varying degrees of pupil size and enhanced viewing of the peripheral retina. EZ-BIO 2600 Indirect Ophthalmoscopes are designed for performance and comfort. The headband has been designed to contour to the user’s head for increased fit and stability while remaining lightweight. Modular power sources ensure that the BIO can be taken from location to location without being tethered to a wall mount.
LED Light Source
Constructed with an LED bulb, the lamp has one of the brightest, longest lasting lights available in a BIO. At a 20 inch (500mm) working distance, the light illuminates at over 2,000 lx.
Works for Both Dilated and Undilated Exams
Small, medium and large apertures allow the user to adjust the beam for pupil size from poorly to fully dilated. The convergence control aides in small pupil capability and a diffuser filter allows for enhanced viewing of the peripheral retina.

Large Aperture Standard aperture for dilated pup and general examination of the eye. |

Intermediate Aperture The intermediate patch is designed to reduce reflections when entering a partially or poorly dilated pupil (3mm). It is also ideal for closer inspection of particular fundal areas. The mirror and optics stay in the mid position. |

Small Aperture Provides easy view of the fund us through anundilated pupil. |
Internal Filters Easily Adjust for Versatility
Quickly change filters for examining multiple media.

Cobalt Blue Filter Corneal defects, abrasions and foreign bodies can be viewed under the Cobalt Blue Filter with fluorescein dye and the Polarizing Filter eliminates corneal glare and reflections. |

Yellow Filter A Yellow Filter enables the observation of retinal drusen, degeneration or retinopathy during fluorescein angioscopy. |

Red-Free Filter The Red-Free Filter makes for easier identification and evaluation of veins, arteries and nerve fibers. |
Designed with User Comfort in Mind
Ergonomically shaped headband and supportive padding, the EZ-BIO-2600 contours to comfortably fit the user’s head, providing improved stability and greater balance during examinations. Weighing in at less than a pound (400 g), the ophthalmoscope offers a natural fit without the weight. The BIO can adjust for PDs of 46 to 74mm and includes Velcro fastening for removable accessories.
Quality Performance with Portability
Smart designing allows for this unit to move with the user. A modular charger give the user the freedom of traveling with the unit, letting the user go to the patient wherever they may be. With maximum charge obtain under 5 hours, this BIO can operate for more than 7 hours when fully changed.
An Exemplary Teaching Tool
Impressive on its own, the EZ-BIO-2600 comes equipped with a mountable Teaching Mirror that grants two observers a clear image of the fundus. This addition makes this BIO excellent for hospitals and offices where students, researchers and fellows practice. The Teaching Mirror easily detaches for individual usage.
