Neitz Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope with Camera IO-α LED CAMERA
The Neitz binocular indirect ophthalmoscope with the IO-α LED CAMERA integrates advanced ophthalmoscopy with a highly sensitive FHD digital camera featuring the latest CMOS image sensor technology. Capable of capturing both still and motion fundus images, this system offers versatility for various clinical needs. Additionally, its to live streaming functionality enables real-time sharing of digital images and sound, facilitating remote consultations and education sessions in diverse settings such as treatment rooms, training facilities, or disaster sites. The recorded visual and audio data can greatly benefit the training of medical professionals and enhance patient communication. By providing high-quality digital imaging solutions, Neitz contributes to the efficiency and safety of medical services.
The superb illumination of the IO-a-LED-CAMERA is the secret behind its sharp imaging. The 3W LED can be set to 19 mm, 50 mm, or 80 mm, and has a color temperature of 3200K.
The color temperature of the LED of Neitz IO-a-LED-Camera is 3200 K, which is same color temperature to the halogen bulb used in the typical binocular indirect ophthalmoscope. The colors observed in ophthalmoscopy are red of blood vessel, orange of retina and yellow of optic disc.
This matches the color temp of industry-standard halogen bulbs, except with an incredible 50,000-hours lifespan and no filament shadow.

Commom White Color LED
Differently from common white color LED used in the binocular indirect ophthalmoscopes of other manufacturers, our halogen bulb color LED reproduces these colors with high color rendering properties as shown in the chart on the left. It supports operator to obtain the maximized information from the fundus observation for more precise diagnosis.
It enables to observe fundus under the same condition of illumination compatible to the halogen bulb illumination of familiar.
The IO-a-LED-CAMERA provides 10 hours of continuous lighting, 5 times that of the competitors.
UV, blue, and red-free filters are included. The low power draw of the LED and the high-capacity rechargeable battery pack lets it run 5 times longer than the competitors, providing 10 hours of continuous lighting and 5 hours at max brightness. This, alongside the device's flawless optics, means clear stereoscopy can be achieved through even a narrow pupil diameter of 2 mm.
This results in an ophthalmoscope that can get a clear view through a pupil diameter of only 2 mm. Fundus image can be observed stereoscopically even through a small pupil of 2 mm diameter. Observation angle can be continuously changed. Smooth single hand adjustment of mirrors allows the observation easily in any desired angle. The halogen light provides suitable illumination for general observation.
The unique optical system in the IO-a-LED-CAMERA lets users change the approach angle to the pupil to a vertical or horizontal position, enabling clinicians to observe the fundus periphery from any angle. Adjusting the illumination light mirror and observation mirrors can be with a single hand, making it quick and painless to achieve stereoscopy. This flexible device has an adjustable pupillary distance that can be set anywhere between 54 mm to 74 mm, making it wearable by most clinicians.
The SC-1 surgical camera that comes with this ophthalmoscope records 30 fps video at VGA, HD, and FHD resolutions. A highly sensitive FHD camera system equipped with the latest CMOS image sensor that tracks and records the details with precision.
The ultimate sensitivity allows to record an image of an eye with a small diameter. Suitable for observing the fundus of pediatric retinal diseases such as a retinopathy of prematurity and active stage classification. Allows also observing the fundus of infants in NICU.
The video can be transferred and streamed painlessly using the included Neitz Capture Software. Will plug into any laptop or computer via USB 2.0 interface. This software gives users quick access to recording and image capturing features and related settings. This package also includes a carrying case and a secure head strap.
