Huvitz Autorefractor / Keratometer HRK-1
Although the technology behind the HRK-1 may not be visible at first glance, its results are clearly evident. Professionals deeply value its commitment to essential quality as an Auto Refractometer/Keratometer. Equipped with Smart Assembly Motion Control Technology (SAMC Tech) and a high-performance light source, the HRK-1 delivers faster and more precise movements according to the patient's refractive error, ensuring highly accurate and stable measurements. As ocular diseases and ophthalmic disorders increase, Huvitz is dedicated to continuously understanding and improving their technologies to meet the growing needs of the field.
The optical system ensures accurate measurements
Huvitz’s Smart Assembly Moving Control Technology
The invisible technology behind Huvitz’s REF optical system is evident in the accuracy and stability of the measurement results. Considering the patient's refractive error, the measurement ring is projected onto the retina and adjusted automatically by Smart Assembly Moving to secure a stable signal.

HRK improves the effect of uneven light reflection in normal and cataract eyes, resulting in more accurate refractive power REF data.
Quick Virtual Aiming Dot Function
The Aiming Dot quickly guides you to easily find the patient’s visual apex from any position for fast alignment. Reliable refractive power REF data is then automatically obtained.
Simple Up & Down Auto Tracking
The Auto Tracking system automatically follows the patient's eye, making measurement easier by allowing you to manipulate the joystick back and forth without needing to rotate it.
Measurements, prescriptions, and fittings are more accurate with enhanced detail
Refractometry (REF Mode)
It is the mode designed solely for measuring refractive power.
Keratometry (KER Mode)
It is the mode designed solely to measure corneal curvature.
K&R Mode
This mode continuously measures both corneal curvature and refractive power.
Immediate Color View Mode
This mode uses a full-color camera and white LED light for color display, overall condition monitoring, contact lens fitting, and prescription. It provides a color screen view using Yellow Filter, White LED, and Blue LED to observe the cornea’s curvature radius when contact lenses are worn.
Color View mode indicator screen (Yellow Filter)
Image processing with a fluorescence solution and yellow filter automatically determines the fitting state.
Color View mode indicator screen (White LED)
This function uses White LED illumination to provide a color image for observation.
Color View mode indicator screen (Blue LED)
This function observes the cornea and contact lens fitting degree using a fluorescence solution and Blue LED.
Convenience for Prescribing Contact Lenses
The HRK-1 automatically calculates and displays the Base Curve value for RGP lenses by adjusting and capturing the contrast of the observed image using On-K fitting based on measured KERATO Data.
Clear Retro-Illumination Mode
This mode allows you to observe eye health and conditions, such as lens opacity or corneal damage. SPH, CYL, and AXIS measurement data required for eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions are obtained simultaneously.
Size MODE
This mode is specifically designed to measure the diameter of the pupil.
Display MODE
This mode displays the measured results that are saved in the memory.
Usability & Efficiency, Designed by Our Users' Experiences
Touch-Enabled 7-Inch Color Display
Featuring a wide color TFT LCD, this display provides high-quality imaging with a real-time processing chip design. The buttonless touch screen is as familiar and convenient as a smartphone. The enhanced optical magnification allows you to observe and measure the eye in greater detail, with sharper and larger images.
Secure Delete Confirm Dialog
The Delete Confirm Dialog function prevents data from being immediately deleted after measurement, allowing for further analysis.
High-Speed Printer and Convenient Paper Change
The HRK-1 can print 10 measurement results quickly and quietly in less than 3 seconds. It also features an easy and simple printer paper changing function.
Connectivity and Efficient Management of Diagnoses with HRK Mate
With the HRK Mate software, you can connect the HRK-1 to a computer and manage the results of all patient diagnoses in a consultation.
Seamless Integration
The HRK-1 Autorefractor can seamlessly connect to the HLM-1 Lensmeter, Digital Refractor, Chart Projector, and LCD Chart using an RS-232 cable. This integration enhances the efficiency and accuracy of your diagnostic process by allowing easy data transfer and synchronization between the devices, ensuring a streamlined workflow and improved patient care.
