Slit Lamp Microscope GR-7 Gilras - us ophthalmic

Galilean Optics
Galilean Converging optics and built in illumination combine to allow for superb quality imaging with the GR-7. This Carl Zeiss Style unit allows for crisp, wide-field views no matter how complicated or detailed your examinations may be. And, like all Gilras Slit Lamps, the GR-7 features superior quality optical crystal.

Three-Position Revolving Drum Magnification
The Gilras GR-7 offers a three-position drum magnification that can be easily switched throughout the exam. Using the conveniently located knob, the unit offers total magnification ratios equivalent to 10x (∅22mm), 16x (∅13.5mm) and 25x (∅8.5mm) with the 12.5x eyepiece.

Wide Field of View with a Range of PD and Diopter Adjustment
The GR-7 offers a large field of view of ∅22mm, ∅13.5mm and ∅8.5mm with the 12.5x eyepiece. The unit features an adjustable prism box that allows practitioners to easily set interpupillary distance from 52mm to 78mm. Diopter also can be precisely adjusted to ±6D.

Complete Brightness Control
The Gilras GR-7 features a brightness dial that offers practitioners complete control over light intensity.

Available with LED or Halogen Light Source
This slit lamp is now offered in your choice of LED or Halogen. LED illumination source technology offers a sharper, brighter and most homogeneous slit than conventional lighting. The shorter wavelength of the LED spectrum light ensures that you’ll see all structures with better detail. LED also provides cost and energy savings—you’ll enjoy a substantial reduction in bulb replacement.

Outstanding Luminance with Built-in Filters
The GR-7 utilizes a 6-volt, 20-watt halogen lamp that provides outstanding luminance. Using the selection dial, practitioners can choose from three built-in Illumination Pathway Filters. Options include a heat absorption filter that aids in patient comfort during lengthy exams, a red-free filter that enhances structural contrast, and a cobalt blue filter for use in fluorescein assessment.

Continuous Slit Rotation and Aperture Adjustment
With the GR-7, practitioners can modify slit width continuously from 0mm to 14mm. The slit becomes a circle at 14mm. The slit height also can be changed continuously, from 1mm to 14mm. Four aperture diameters (14mm, 8mm, 3.5mm, 0.5mm) provide a clear, broad field of view. The easy-to-use controls on the GR-7 allow you to rotate the slit image at any angle in the vertical or horizontal direction, from 0° to 180°.

Integrated Joystick
The integrated Joystick is simple to control and allows operators to acquire sharp images. The base operation of the GR-7 offers the following movements to provide flexibility, comfort and precision—longitudinal movement to 90mm; lateral movement to 100mm, fine movement to15mm and vertical movement to 30mm. The joystick moves horizontal for fine-tuning and vertical for height and target alignment. Once you achieve the proper alignment, the base can be locked to prevent sliding.

Quality Craftsmanship
The Gilras GR-7 was built using high quality aluminum and bronze, making this unit not only an excellent performer, but a durable one as well.

Flexibility to Add On Accessories
No matter how detailed your exam needs are, the GR-7 can adapt to meet them. The advanced optics in the GR-7 offer excellent performance as well as the flexibility to connect technologically advanced imaging systems. An optional beamsplitter allows for video camera attachment. Video camera, camera adaptor and applanation tonometer are also available as optional accessories for the GR-7. This slit lamp can be equipped with the TN-180 / TN-180B applanation tonometer as well as several other accessories. The TN-180B tonometer does not include the Mount Adapter (MOUNTADAPTEZLX) to be connected to the slip lamp, but as this lamp includes the mount does not need to buy it.
